Ally shook her head at Michael as she trotted up beside him on Licorice, pulling her mare to a halt. -You crazy western riders- she said teasingly, a grin on her face. -One of these days, that horse is gonna break his leg- As neatly as she could, she dismounted, landing lightly on the ground. Licorice snorted in contempt at Eagle, turning her head away from the stallion.

Cadence halted Bounty beside the two other equines and slid easily from his back, black Ariat field boot heels thudding on the dirt.
Bounty snorted wistfully as she pulled the reins over his crown, and he extended his muzzle to the right in an attempt to nip Licorice as she spilled her attention over Eagle, but Cadence flicked the reins at his cheek and he regained his composure with an apologetic sigh.
Hey, Ally, quit flirting and meet me in the hunter ring in an hour or so. Give Liccy a break, and make sure you brush her out first. She's a bit sweaty. Michael gave her an easy smile and swung a leg over Eagle's back. He landed with a dull thud and then turned back to Ally. "Don't worry. Eagle's got strong legs. He's been doing this for years." Michael said, running a hand through his hair.
Michael pulled reeins over Eagle's head and held them. "I see you've found yourself a trainer. Good. You're good, but everyone can learn more. I'll see you later, Ally." Michael waved and tugged gently on the reins.
Eagle snorted and bared his teeth at Licorice. He gave another intimadating snort and then followed Michael towards the barn.

Ally went bright red at Cadences words. -I was not flirting- she mumbled, only to herself. -I'll see you in a hour- She called after Cadence as the girl led her horse away. -See you!- she called to Michael, still bright red. Licorice snorted at the stallion in contempt, pinning her ears and cocking a hind leg. -None of that!- Ally exclaimed, giving the mare a light slap on her neck. -Behave!- She brought the reins over Licky's neck, noting that, as Cadence had said, the mare was quite sweaty. -Comeon girl,- She clucked to the mare, leading her down towards the barn.
